Picking up something new

Still raining. And it doesn't look like it'll change anytime soon. Blah. The house is on 80 but the thing only says 72. That's how cold it is out there. Boo! Everything is just damp.

But to cheer me up I've decided to learn a new bit of magic. Problem is what type? There's so many to choose from. And it has to be baby friendly because my daughter is learning how to crawl. Or at least trying. She'll be into everything soon.

More rain?

Rain, rain go away.
Come again some other day.

I wish it was a warm rain. Not this cold, still winter, even though it's spring rain.

As a pagan I'm supposed to be in tune with the earth right? Yeah, but I don't have to like the weather about said earth. I like rain I just like warm rain better.

I want to be able to take my baby out in the rain, when she's older, and we can play in it. Now it's just nasty, ague pains rains.

Just because I'm a pagan doesn't mean I have to like it.

Spring?

So Ostara wasn't too long ago, I didn't get to do anything but a quicker prayer because I'm mommy busy and tired, but what happened?

It was so nice at the end of winter and spring is here and now it's like winter? What happened? I'm hearing we're supposed to get snowy, sleety, rainy stuff soon. What? That's winter weather. Spring means flowers! I see the trees blooming, the flowers trying to come up, birds are back, so waking up in the morning is great now and we're getting winter weather?

Winter I'm done with you. I know you come every year, but this year I need you to just pack up and leave. I need the spring. My daughter needs the Spring. I need the new start spirtually, physically, mentally, emotionally, that Spring brings.

I'll help you pack your bags.

Coming back

My last post was New Year's Day last year. That's a long time, over a year. In that year I've had some pretty amazing stuff happen to me. I found out I was pregnant 4 days later, so it was good I never took a drink. I had a baby girl, named Alessandra, Alessa for short and I have a baby cousin who's 12 days younger than my daughter. Plus three sets of cousins got married. So yeah good year 2010.

This year is going to be better though. My daughter will turn one, I'll start school for nursing with the eventual hopes of being a midwife and things will have to get better.

I'll also be blogging more. Since I do have time now to do this. I just don't know what pagan-y thing I should talk about this time. Maybe it'll come to me tomorrow when I'm out and about.
